Backyard Gazebo & Deck Build

A backyard transformed into a real outdoor living space with a new covered gazebo, connecting deck, and built-in bench seating. Designed for shade, summer dinners, and Ontario weather.

Everything framed properly, fastened with quality hardware, and finished with composite decking that holds up to Barrie winters.

The existing yard had a small concrete patio that was cracked, sloped, and unusable for furniture. The homeowners wanted a covered outdoor space they could actually live in from May to October.

Drainage and sloping needed to be addressed so water moved away from the foundation.

We removed the old patio, set proper footings below frost line, and framed a new platform deck stepped down from the back door.

A custom gazebo with a steel roof was built on the deck, with built-in bench seating and dimmable LED lighting under the rafters for evening use.

The finished space added a full outdoor room to the home — used daily through the warm months and protected from sun, rain, and the occasional Barrie thunderstorm.
